Completed our first Financial Peace University
So we decided to host an outreach helping people learn about Financial Peace. That is we hosted Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University. It consisted of 9 lessons, we carried out over 8 weeks (doubled up one week).
I’d have to say it was a success. We had 3 families show up and participate. We had some lively discussions and learned a lot from Dave Ramsey and his videos.
What is Financial Peace University?
We all need a plan for our money. Financial Peace University (FPU) is that plan! It teaches God’s ways of handling money. Through video teaching, class discussions and interactive small group activities, FPU presents biblical, practical steps to get from where you are to where you’ve dreamed you could be. This plan will show you how to get rid of debt, manage your money, spend and save wisely, and much more!
FPU classes meet for around an hour and a half each week for nine weeks.

So You Can Live Like No One Else!
It doesn’t take much delayed gratification and you will soon learn that later you will “Live and Give Like No One Else”!

This isn’t some stuffy economics class! You’ll laugh as you learn money skills from Dave and participate in entertaining class activities.
