Baptism – 3 Souls Baptized

Boy did we have a great turn out to church today. Being a small church (but growing) it is very uplifting to see attendance up. This particular Sabbath attendance was high because we were holding a baptism. Two people were preparing to be Baptized today.

The two being baptized were Lisa Rollings and Tyler Harding. After a long series of Bible Studies with Pastor Delthony Gordon and Anthony Ponterio, Jr. they were ready to give their lives to the Lord. This occasions are always a rich blessing to witness as we increase the size of our flock and praise God for the work that he does in our lives.

Lisa Rollings has been even elected into the position of Treasurer since joining the church. She has been doing a great job leading and being an influential member of the church.

Tyler Harding has also been a great addition to our church membership. It’s amazing to see God working in people’s lives.

A last minute addition is highly unlikely for our church. As our members know we generally have a process solely because when we get baptized there is a vow that we take accepting the Bible Truths. Generally, this means a process of bible studies and making sure an individual is ready to accept that vow so that no one has to go back on their word before God.

John Gamm, was insistent on being baptized this day. After meeting with both the Pastor and Elder Ponterio for some time, he accepted the responsibilities of going through Bible Studies and accepting the Truth from the Bible. It’s a great day when people stand to give their lives to the Lord.
